Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Lipschitz Estimates for One-Sided Cohen’s Commutators on Weighted One-Sided Triebel-Lizorkin Spaces

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2014
We introduce one-sided Cohen’s commutators of singular integral operators and fractional integral operators, respectively. Using the extrapolation of one-sided weights, we establish the boundedness of these operators from weighted Lebesgue spaces to ...

New integral type operators

open access: yesFilomat, 2017
In this paper we construct new integral type operators including heritable properties of Baskakov Durrmeyer and Baskakov Kantorovich operators. Results concerning convergence of these operators in weighted space and the hypergeometric form of the operators are shown.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Boundedness of Fractional Oscillatory Integral Operators and Their Commutators in Vanishing Generalized Weighted Morrey Spaces

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2017
In this article, we give the boundedness conditions in terms of Zygmund-type integral inequalities for oscillatory integral operators and fractional oscillatory integral operators on the vanishing generalized weighted Morrey spaces.

An integral RB operator [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Fixed Point Theory and Applications
AbstractWe introduce the novel concept of integral Read–Bajraktarević (iRB) operator and discuss some of its properties. We show that this iRB operator generalizes the known Read–Bajraktarević (RB) operator and we derive conditions for the fixed point of the iRB operator to belong to certain function spaces.

A methionine‐lined active site governs carbocation stabilization and product specificity in a bacterial terpene synthase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

Time-Frequency Analysis of Fourier Integral Operators [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
We use time-frequency methods for the study of Fourier Integral operators (FIOs). In this paper we shall show that Gabor frames provide very efficient representations for a large class of FIOs.

On Fourier Integral Operators [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1982
We consider operators of the form: ∫ − ∞ ∞ F t φ ( t ) d t \int _{ - \infty }^\infty {{F_t}\varphi (t)\;dt} , where

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.
