Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Study about inclusion relationships and integral preserving properties [PDF]

open access: yesSurveys in Mathematics and its Applications, 2012
The object of the present paper is to investigate a family of integral operators defined on the space of meromorphic functions. By making use of these novel integral operators, we introduce and investigate several new subclasses of starlike, convex ...

Univalence of certain integral operators

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2000
We study some integral operators and determine conditions for the univalence of these integral operators.

Strongly omnipresent integral operators [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
An operator T on the space H(G) of holomorphic functions on a domain G is strongly omnipresent whenever there is a residual set of functions f ∈ H(G) such that T f exhibits an extremely “wild” behaviour near the boundary.

Generalized oscillatory integrals and Fourier integral operators [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the Edinburgh Mathematical Society, 2009
AbstractIn this paper, a theory is developed of generalized oscillatory integrals (OIs) whose phase functions and amplitudes may be generalized functions of Colombeau type. Based on this, generalized Fourier integral operators (FIOs) acting on Colombeau algebras are defined. This is motivated by the need for a general framework for partial differential

Cell density–dependent nuclear‐cytoplasmic shuttling of SETDB1 integrates with Hippo signaling to regulate YAP1‐mediated transcription

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
At low cell density, SETDB1 and YAP1 accumulate in the nucleus. As cell density increases, the Hippo pathway is gradually activated, and SETDB1 is associated with increased YAP1 phosphorylation. At high cell density, phosphorylated YAP1 is sequestered in the cytoplasm, while SETDB1 becomes polyubiquitinated and degraded by the ubiquitin–proteasome ...

Time-Frequency Analysis of Fourier Integral Operators [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
We use time-frequency methods for the study of Fourier Integral operators (FIOs). In this paper we shall show that Gabor frames provide very efficient representations for a large class of FIOs.

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.
