INTERACTIVE TEACHING

open access: yesJournal of Social Sciences, 2020
Interactive teaching is an epitomic strategy that engages as many learners as possible, consequently encouraging the gratification of learning, research methods and heuristic. The entertainment process tends to motivate learning, expands communicative skills, stimulates critical thinking and brings academic contentment.

The planar cell polarity protein Vangl2 interacts with the PDZ‐domains of Scribble but not with a unique PDZ‐like domain in Inturned

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

An Integrated Approach to 3D Web Visualization of Cultural Heritage Heterogeneous Datasets

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2019
The evolution of the high-quality 3D archaeological representations from niche products to integrated online media has not yet been completed. Digital archives of the field often lack multimodal data interoperability, user interaction and intelligibility.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

E-Learning Works - Exactly How Well Depends on its Unique Features and Barriers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Key Findings: E-learning is comparable to traditional teacher-led classroom instruction in terms of effectiveness. E-learning has specific features that may influence learning: content, immersion, interactivity, and communication.

Interaction Proteomics

open access: yesBioscience Reports, 2005
The term proteome is traditionally associated with the identification of a large number of proteins within complex mixtures originating from a given organelle, cell or even organism. Current proteome investigations are basically focused on two major areas, expression proteomics and functional proteomics.

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Interactivity and Explicit Memory Formation of Consumer Undergraduate Male Students on Internet Environment

open access: yesBBR: Brazilian Business Review, 2016
This research aims to integrate the theories of Explicit Memory and Interactivity, contributing to the theoretical development of both. We investigated whether the interactivity precedes the explicit consumer memory.

Individual differences influencing procedural learning outcomes in virtual reality: a case study on an exterior preflight inspection

open access: yesFrontiers in Virtual Reality
IntroductionVirtual reality (VR) has been increasingly used across safety-critical industries for training procedures because it allows for practice without real-world risks. Its effectiveness may be further influenced by individual differences.
