This work explores Li‐substituted P2 layered oxides for Na‐ion batteries by crystallographic and electrochemical studies. The effect of lithium on superstructure orderings, on phase transitions during synthesis and electrochemical cycling and on the interplay of O‐ versus TM‐redox is revealed via various advanced techniques, including semi‐simultaneous

Indigo in the nanochannels of zeolite L : towards a new type of colorant [PDF]
A host-guest based colorant was synthesized by intercalating indigo molecules into the nanochannels of zeolite L (ZL). Reductive washing thereby ensured the efficient and selective removal of non-intercalated indigo molecules.

A spin group (SG)‐based mechanism is proposed to realize a single pair of Weyl points. PT‐symmetric nodal lines (NLs) persist under T‐breaking, protected by the combination of SG and P symmetry. When considering spin‐orbit coupling, the SG‐protected NL will split into Weyl points, which will also induce anomalous transport phenomena arising from ...

Coupled ATP and potassium efflux from intercalated cells
Increased flow in the distal nephron induces K secretion through the large-conductance, calcium-activated K channel (BK), which is primarily expressed in intercalated cells (IC). Since flow also increases ATP release from IC, we hypothesized that purinergic signaling has a role in shear stress (τ; 10 dynes/cm2) -induced, BK-dependent, K efflux.

Intercalated Duct Adenoma of the Parotid Gland
A 56-year-old man presented with a 10-year history of gradually enlarging left pre-auricular mass. No biopsies were done. He underwent superficial parotidectomy which showed an enlarged parotid gland measuring 6 x 5.5 x 2 cm with a 0.5 x 0.2 x 0.
