Amorphous Ga2O3 and Temperature‐Tolerant Solar‐Blind Ultraviolet Photodetectors for Extreme Environments

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, Volume 12, Issue 3, 4 February 2026.
Robust photoresponses and temperature adaptability were achieved in Ga2O3 solar‐blind UV photodetectors operated at temperatures between 100 and 450 K. The thermal‐driven evolution of oxygen vacancies in amorphous thin films brings about distinct non‐monotonic variations.

Fluorine‐Free Ionic Liquid Electrolytes Featuring Biomass‐Derived Heterocyclic Anions for Variable Temperature Supercapacitors

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, Volume 7, Issue 2, February 2026.
This study introduces two new fluorine‐free ionic liquids (ILs) produced by coupling biomass‐derived heterocyclic anions, i.e., THP and 3‐FuA, with P4444 cation. Both the ILs display enhanced capacitance with increasing temperature, underscoring their potential as fluorine‐free electrolytes for supercapacitors.
