Feasibility and Preliminary Efficacy of Integrative Neuromuscular Training for Childhood Cancer Survivors: A Pilot Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Survivors of childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) often exhibit early deficits in muscle and movement competence, which can compromise long‐term health. Integrative neuromuscular training (INT), a multifaceted approach combining fundamental movement activities with strength exercises, may help address these deficits during ...

Assessing Cognitive Functioning in Children With Brain Tumors: Interaction of Neighborhood Social Determinants of Health and Neurological Risk

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background This study investigated how neighborhood‐level social determinants of health (SDOH), including redlining and neurological risk, interact to influence cognitive outcomes in children treated for brain tumors (CTBT). Methods A retrospective chart review of 161 CTBT aged 5–17 was conducted.

Organ‐specific redox imbalances in spinal muscular atrophy mice are partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotides

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Interference alignment under limited feedback for MIMO interference channels [PDF]

open access: yes2010 IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory, 2010
While interference alignment schemes have been employed to realize the full multiplexing gain of $K$-user interference channels, the analyses performed so far have predominantly focused on the case when global channel knowledge is available at each node of the network. This paper considers the problem where each receiver knows its channels from all the

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Topological Interference Management for MIMO Interference Broadcast Channels

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
In this paper, we investigate the topological interference management (TIM) for MIMO interference broadcast channels (IBC) under the fixed topology, where only topology information is needed to cancel the inter-cell interference (ICI).

Partial Interference Alignment for $K$-User MIMO Interference Channels [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, 2011
In this paper, we consider a Partial Interference Alignment and Interference Detection (PIAID) design for $K$-user quasi-static MIMO interference channels with discrete constellation inputs. Each transmitter has M antennas and transmits L independent data streams to the desired receiver with N receive antennas.

AAA+ protein unfoldases—the Moirai of the proteome

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
AAA+ unfoldases are essential molecular motors that power protein degradation and disaggregation. This review integrates recent cryo‐electron microscopy (cryo‐EM) structures and single‐molecule biophysical data to reconcile competing models of substrate translocation.

Grouping Based Blind Interference Alignment for $K$-user MISO Interference Channels

open access: yes, 2015
We propose a blind interference alignment (BIA) through staggered antenna switching scheme with no ideal channel assumption. Contrary to the ideal assumption that channels remain constant during BIA symbol extension period, when the coherence time of the
