From omics to AI—mapping the pathogenic pathways in type 2 diabetes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Integrating multi‐omics data with AI‐based modelling (unsupervised and supervised machine learning) identify optimal patient clusters, informing AI‐driven accurate risk stratification. Digital twins simulate individual trajectories in real time, guiding precision medicine by matching patients to targeted therapies.

Radar active oppressive interference suppression based on generative adversarial network

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar & Navigation
Modern radar systems often face various interference signals in complex and rapidly changing electronic environments. The task of suppressing this interference in the radar echo signal to extract vital information is challenging.

Robust Wideband Interference Suppression Method for GNSS Array Antenna Receiver via Hybrid Beamforming Technique

open access: yesRemote Sensing
Global navigation satellite system (GNSS) array antenna receivers are widely used to suppress wideband interference in navigation countermeasures. However, existing array antenna receivers all adopt a digital array structure and digital beamforming ...

A Fault Identification Method for Metal Oxide Arresters Combining Suppression of Environmental Temperature and Humidity Interference with a Stacked Autoencoder

open access: yesEnergies, 2023
Most existing methods aiming to solve the fault identification problem of metal oxide arresters (MOAs) are limited by strong subjectivity in judgment, the significant impact of environmental temperature and humidity on the online monitoring of the ...

ERBIN limits epithelial cell plasticity via suppression of TGF‐β signaling

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In breast and lung cancer patients, low ERBIN expression correlates with poor clinical outcomes. Here, we show that ERBIN inhibits TGF‐β‐induced epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in NMuMG breast and A549 lung adenocarcinoma cell lines. ERBIN suppresses TGF‐β/SMAD signaling and reduces TGF‐β‐induced ERK phosphorylation.

Novel and unscrutinized immune entities of the zebrafish gut

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Understudied cells of the zebrafish immune system include bona fide immune cells and epithelial (‐derived) cells with immune functions. Research focusing on zebrafish cells which demonstrate similarities to mammalian immune cell counterparts may help us understand the pathologies in which they are implicated. Currently available and advanced tools make

A research on low-earth-orbit signal-of-opportunity interference suppression algorithm based on adaptive signal iterative subspace projection technique

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics
Signal-of-Opportunity (SOP) positioning based on Low-Earth-Orbit (LEO) constellations has gradually become a research hotspot. LEO satellite SOP positioning possess strong anti-jamming capabilities due to their large quantity, wide spectral coverage, and

Decoherence induced by a fluctuating Aharonov-Casher phase

open access: yes, 2005
Dipoles interference is studied when atomic systems are coupled to classical electromagnetic fields. The interaction between the dipoles and the classical fields induces a time-varying Aharonov-Casher phase.

From lactation to malignancy: A comparison between healthy and cancerous breast gland at single‐cell resolution reveals new issues for tumorigenesis

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Single‐cell RNA sequencing reveals an opposite role of SLPI in basal tumors based on metastatic spread, along with shared activation of specific regulons in cancer cells and mature luminal lactocytes, as well as downregulation of MALAT1 and NEAT1 in the latter.

Sublattice Interference in the Kagome Hubbard Model

open access: yes, 2012
We study the electronic phases of the kagome Hubbard model (KHM) in the weak coupling limit around van Hove filling. Through an analytic renormalization group analysis, we find that there exists a sublattice interference mechanism where the kagome ...
