Mach-Zehnder Bragg interferometer for a Bose-Einstein Condensate
We construct a Mach-Zehnder interferometer using Bose-Einstein condensed rubidium atoms and optical Bragg diffraction. In contrast to interferometers based on normal diffraction, where only a small percentage of the atoms contribute to the signal, our ...

Confirmation of a Non‐Transiting Planet in the Habitable Zone of the Nearby M Dwarf L 98‐59
ABSTRACT Only 40 exoplanetary systems with five or more planets are currently known. These systems are crucial for our understanding of planet formation and planet‐planet interaction. The M dwarf L 98‐59 has previously been found to show evidence of five planets, three of which are transiting.

This study develops a nano‐enzyme patch (ezPatch) targeting bone interfaces. Utilizing ligand‐to‐metal charge transfer (LMCT) catalysis and bone‐targeting ligands on copper nanosheets, ezPatch simultaneously scavenges reactive oxygen species (ROS) and generates oxygen in situ at bone‐losing sites.

Mid‐Infrared Spectroscopy and Machine Learning for Chlorogenic Acid Quantification in Coffee
Chlorogenic acid (CGA) concentration in coffee was predicted using mid‐infrared (MIR) spectroscopy and a machine learning approach. Forty‐four roasting stages (140–220 °C) plus a green coffee control were analyzed. A multilayer perceptron regressor, trained on preprocessed MIR data, outperformed traditional peak analysis, enabling accurate and ...

ABSTRACT We present a new end‐to‐end neural network approach for real‐time biological cell detection and classification via label‐free quantitative imaging flow cytometry based on digital holography, offering a comprehensive representation of cellular structures without the need for chemical cell staining. In contrast to previous studies, our method is

A bilayer protection approach is proposed for slowing down the surface potential decay of thin films of spontaneously‐polarized electret materials. The electret and the protective films are characterized, and the protection effectiveness is investigated under the effects of light illumination, water contact and mechanical impact.

A developed form of the Fresnel zone-plate interferometer is described. Three basic configurations are distinguished, associated with the real and virtual first order foci of a zone plate. Related versions and higher order variants are also educed. Compensated phase zone plates used in this application are found to produce uniform amplitude wavefronts.
