Inflation and Large Internal Dimensions
We consider some aspects of inflation in models with large internal dimensions. If inflation occurs on a 3D wall after the stabilization of internal dimensions in the models with low unification scale (M ~ 1 TeV), the inflaton field must be extremely ...

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Results of excision of the radial head in comminuted fractures
Objectives: To evaluate the results of radial head excision in the treatment of comminuted radial head fractures. \r\nMethods: The study included 20 patients (14 men, 6 women; mean age 34 years; range 21 to 55 years) who underwent radial head excision ...

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

The effect of calcium sulfate on fracture healing in rat tibial fractures
Objectives: Calcium sulfate dihydrate (CSD) has been successfully used as an osteconductive biomaterial for bone defects since the last century. Osteoconductive biomaterials are also known to be useful in fracture healing. In this study the effect of CSD

Gravitational instantons and internal dimensions
We Study instanton solutions in general relativity with a scalar field. The metric ansatz we use is composed of a particular warp product of general Einstein metrics, such as those found in a number of cosmological settings, including string cosmology ...

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Quantum statistics with internal symmetry [PDF]
We formulate a group-theoretical projection technique for the quantum-statistical description of systems with exactly conserved charges corresponding to local non-Abelian gauge symmetries.
