MODELING AND SIMULATION OF SINGLE LOOP PLANETARY TRANSMISSION SYSTEM BASED ON BOND GRAPH THEORY

open access: yesJixie qiangdu, 2017
Based on bond graph theory, considering the time-varying meshing stiffness, damping and tooth surface friction force of internal and external gear, using LuGre friction model, the bond graph model of NGW type planetary gear was established. And then, the bond

Biologically inspired adaptive crack network reconstruction based on slime mould algorithm

open access: yesScientific Reports
The dynamic crack propagation trajectories play a crucial role in enhancing our understanding of spatial mechanisms involved in crack expansion. However, visualization of internal cracks under complex crack conditions has always been a challenge ...

Simulation of hydraulic-mechanical-chemical coupled acid fracturing of rock with lattice bonds

open access: yesHeliyon
The acid fracturing is a very important stimulation technique for carbonate reservoir. The hydraulic-mechanical-chemical effect is tightly coupled in this fracture process. In this paper, the discretized virtual internal bond is extended to simulate this

Low frequency Raman studies of multi-wall carbon nanotubes: experiments and theory

open access: yes, 2002
In this paper, we investigate the low frequency Raman spectra of multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWNT) prepared by the electric arc method. Low frequency Raman modes are unambiguously identified on purified samples thanks to the small internal diameter of ...

YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.

Molecular dynamics simulations of positively selected codons in FcγRI reveal novel biochemical binding properties

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...

Transition state energy decomposition study of acetate-assisted and internal electrophilic substitution C−H bond activation by (acac-O,O)_2Ir(X) complexes (X = CH_3COO, OH) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Chelate-assisted and internal electrophilic substitution type transition states were studied using a DFT-based energy decomposition method. Interaction energies for benzene and methane C−H bond activation by (acac-O,O)_2Ir(X) complexes (X = CH_3COO and ...

Sudden anaerobization in Amphibacillus xylanus increases intracellular labile ferrous iron and inhibits cell growth

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Abruptly changing from aerobic to anaerobic conditions (sudden anaerobization) induced growth inhibition and a significant increase in intracellular labile ferrous iron in the aerotolerant anaerobe Amphibacillus xylanus. We found that free flavins mediate efficient electron transfer from NADH to ferric iron under anaerobic conditions, suggesting that ...

Green bonds and sustainable business models in Nordic energy companies

open access: yesCurrent Research in Environmental Sustainability
As green bonds continue their dynamic growth trajectory to finance the transition to a more sustainable future, a gap in the literature remains on how companies have overcome internal barriers to successful green bond issuance.
