International Bond Risk Premia [PDF]
We find evidence for time-varying risk premia across international bond markets. Local and global factors jointly predict returns. The global factor is closely linked to US bond risk premia and international business cycles. Movements in the global factor seem to drive risk premia and expected short-term interest rates in opposite directions.

Common factors in international bond returns [PDF]
In this paper we estimate and interpret the factors that jointly determine bond returns of different maturities in the US, Germany and Japan. We analyze both currency-hedged and unhedged bond returns. For currency-hedged bond returns, we find that five factors explain 96.5% of the variation of bond returns. These factors can be associated with changes in ...

Effects of bonding type and interface geometry on coherent transport through the single-molecule magnet Mn12 [PDF]
We examine theoretically coherent electron transport through the single-molecule magnet Mn$_{12}$, bridged between Au(111) electrodes, using the non-equilibrium Green's function method and the density-functional theory.

Disposition of Federally Owned Surpluses [PDF]
PDZ domains are scaffolding modules in protein-protein interactions that mediate numerous physiological functions by interacting canonically with the C-terminus or non-canonically with an internal motif of protein ligands. A conserved carboxylate-binding
