Physical properties of the interplanetary dust such as the local polarization and temperature, together with their heliocentric variations, may be derived from scattered and emitted light observations. With a realistic size distribution typical of the interplanetary dust, a very good fit of the polarization phase curve near 1 AU is obtained for a ...

Information about the physical properties of cosmic dust is mainly provided by remote observations. Results about phase angle and wavelength dependence of the polarization of dust in comets are updated, and the phase angle dependence of the (positive) rate of increase of the wavelength dependence is estimated in the visible domain.

REINA-ΦΩ v7.0∞: A Physically-Anchored Quantum-Ethical Organ for Interplanetary AI Swarm Enforcement
1. Introduction Most AI safety mechanisms are implemented as software policies: filters, guards, oversight agents. In high-risk interplanetary environments, this is not enough. A sufficiently advanced or compromised swarm can rewrite its own software stack.openaire +1 more source
