Standing Waves in the FitzHugh-Nagumo System and a Problem in Combinatorial Geometry
We show that there is a close relation between standing-wave solutions for the FitzHugh-Nagumo system \[ \Delta u +u(u-a)(1-u) - \delta v=0, \ \ \Delta v-\delta \gamma v + u=0 \ \ \mbox{in} \ R^N,\] \[ u, v \to 0 \ \mbox{as} \ |x| \to +\infty ...

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Electromagnetic wave diffraction by a system of non-intersecting obstacles of various dimensions
The vector problem of time-harmonic electromagnetic wave diffraction by a system of non-intersecting solid inhomogeneous bodies, infinitely thin perfectly conducting screens and wire antennas is considered. The original boundary value problem for Maxwell’

Epilepsy‐Associated Variants of a Single SCN1A Codon Exhibit Divergent Functional Properties
ABSTRACT Objective Pathogenic variants in SCN1A, which encodes the voltage‐gated sodium channel NaV1.1, are associated with multiple epilepsy syndromes exhibiting a range of clinical severity. SCN1A variants are reported in different syndromes, including Dravet syndrome, which is associated with loss‐of‐function, whereas neonatal/infantile‐onset ...

Neurovascular Contacts in the Pathophysiology of Neuralgic Amyotrophy: An Observational Study
ABSTRACT Objective Neuralgic amyotrophy (NA) is a prevalent, monophasic, multifocal immune‐mediated neuropathy. A distinctive characteristic of the disease is the occurrence of nerve or fascicle constrictions and torsions (NA‐associated focal nerve lesions, NAFL). The pathophysiology underlying this phenomenon remains to be fully elucidated.

A 17 Year Old With Developmental Delay Presenting With Increasing Confusion and Imbalance
ABSTRACT Methylmalonic acidemia is an autosomal recessive genetic disorder primarily caused by defects in methylmalonyl‐CoA mutase and cobalamin (vitamin B12) metabolism. These defects disrupt the tricarboxylic acid cycle and oxidative phosphorylation, leading to the abnormal accumulation of metabolic products such as methylmalonic acid, propionic acid,

Self-intersecting marginally outer trapped surfaces
We have shown previously that a merger of marginally outer trapped surfaces (MOTSs) occurs in a binary black hole merger and that there is a continuous sequence of MOTSs which connects the initial two black holes to the final one.
