An Efficient Method of Pulse Repetition Interval Modulation Recognition

2010 International Conference on Communications and Mobile Computing, 2010
A novel recognizer that automatically reports the PRI (Pulse Repetition Interval) modulation type of a radar pulse signal is developed. The proposed method utilizes the features based on the properties of PRI sequence for each PRI modulation type both in time and frequency domain. These features are defined as zeros-crossing density, harmonic amplitude

Pulse repetition interval analysis using decimated Walsh-Hadamard transform

2017 IEEE Radar Conference (RadarConf), 2017
Radar signal sorting for the identification of radar signals is one of the main tasks for Electronic Intelligence (ELINT). Information derived from the pulse repetition interval (PRI) of a radar signal can be used to identify radar emitters. In this study, classification of PRI type is done based on the power spectrums of the Walsh-Hadamard transform ...

Prime sequences for asynchronous pulse repetition interval agile radar

IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, 1999
We propose the use of prime sequences in pulse repetition agile radar to increase the immunity of the radar to reconnaissance and deceptive jamming. The prime sequences are mapped into state agile mapped (SAM) sequences and are used to determine the pulse repetition interval (PRI) of the radar.

Repetitive learning control of nonlinear systems over finite intervals

Science China Information Sciences, 2010
Iterative learning control requires initial repositioning, while the time functions to be learned should be of periodicity in repetitive control. However, there are cases in practice where the time-varying unknowns are not periodic but repetitive, and repetitive learning control is applicable with avoidance of initial repositioning.

Hierarchical classification of dynamically varying radar pulse repetition interval modulation patterns

Neural Networks, 2010
The central purpose of passive signal intercept receivers is to perform automatic categorization of unknown radar signals. Currently, there is an urgent need to develop intelligent classification algorithms for these devices due to emerging complexity of radar waveforms.

Auditory repetition enhancement at short interstimulus intervals for frequency-modulated tones

Brain Research, 2011
Frequency-modulated (FM) sweeps are important components of most natural sounds. To examine the processing of these stimuli we applied a two-tone paradigm. Repeated stimulus presentation usually leads to reduced neuronal responses. However, in a former study repetition enhancements which have been observed when FM tones were separated by short ...

Motor and executive control in repetitive timing of brief intervals.

Journal of Experimental Psychology: Human Perception and Performance, 2013
We investigated the causal role of executive control functions in the production of brief time intervals by means of a concurrent task paradigm. To isolate the influence of executive functions on timing from motor coordination effects, we dissociated executive load from the number of effectors used in the dual task situation.

Deep Convolutional Neural Network Classifier of Pulse Repetition Interval Modulations

2019 International Radar Conference (RADAR), 2019
Electronic support systems obtain valuable information about a pulsed radar through the analysis of its Pulse Repetition Intervals (PRIs). PRI signal is very agile and undergone complex distortion which makes its analysis non-trivial. In this paper, a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is proposed for automatic PRI classification. We show that standard

Generation of multiple pulses with extremely short pulse repetition interval

IEEE Transactions on Plasma Science, 2000
A new type of multipulse generator is proposed for the generation of high power pulses with an extremely short interpulse repetition interval. In this system, an air-core step-up transformer is used with a magnetic switch and a pulse forming line, which is charged in the double-resonance mode. Numerical simulations of this system have shown that 600 kV,
