Motor and executive control in repetitive timing of brief intervals.
Journal of Experimental Psychology: Human Perception and Performance, 2013We investigated the causal role of executive control functions in the production of brief time intervals by means of a concurrent task paradigm. To isolate the influence of executive functions on timing from motor coordination effects, we dissociated executive load from the number of effectors used in the dual task situation.

An Efficient Method of Pulse Repetition Interval Modulation Recognition
2010 International Conference on Communications and Mobile Computing, 2010A novel recognizer that automatically reports the PRI (Pulse Repetition Interval) modulation type of a radar pulse signal is developed. The proposed method utilizes the features based on the properties of PRI sequence for each PRI modulation type both in time and frequency domain. These features are defined as zeros-crossing density, harmonic amplitude

An efficient set of features for pulse repetition interval modulation
IET International Conference on Radar Systems 2007, 2007Pulse repetition interval (PRI) modulation recognition is one of the essential processes in electronic support (ES) receivers. The recognized PRI modulation type and other measured pulse train parameters usually reveal the functional purpose of the radar and are of good use in emitter identification.

Variations in phrasing, repetition intervals, and the recall of sentence material
Journal of Verbal Learning and Verbal Behavior, 1966The purpose of this study was to find out whether immediate repetition of a sentence in an instructive passage resulted in less learning than delayed repetition, even if the phrasing of the sentence was changed in repetition. Eight simple attributive statements were included exactly twice in a passage about a fictional primitive tribe which was studied

A New Method for Recognizing Pulse Repetition Interval Modulation
2009 International Conference on Signal Processing Systems, 2009In a dense modern electronic warfare environment, there are a lot of radar signals. The identification of these radar signals is the main task of the electronic support measures systems. Pulse repetition intervals of signals received from radars can have various PRI modulations and levels.

Hand Asymmetries in Interresponse Intervals During Rapid Repetitive Finger Tapping
Journal of Motor Behavior, 1988Interresponse intervals (IRIs) were recorded as 8 right-handed male subjects tapped a key separately with the index finger of each hand as fast as possible for twenty 10-s runs. Frequency distributions of the IRIs produced by each hand showed that the shorter mean IRI that is usually reported for preferred-hand tapping is a result of a systematic ...

Repetitive intravenous TRH-stimulations at short intervals in euthyroid and hypothyroid subjects
Acta Endocrinologica, 1980Abstract. In 17 euthyroid normal volunteers and 17 hypothyroid patients, serum concentrations of TSH, T3 and T4 were measured after multiple stimulations with TRH. All subjects received 6 TRH-injections (200 μg iv) at intervals of 2 h. Three euthyroid normal volunteers were stimulated 12 times with TRH in the same way.

A 9 ps time interval digitizer based on pulse repetition and averaging
2019 IEEE International Instrumentation and Measurement Technology Conference (I2MTC), 2019A high-resolution time interval digitizer based on a novel method of averaging the width of a cyclically repeated pulse is described. Information about the measured time interval is contained in the width of a pulse that circulates in a discrete delay loop and is measured by counting with the use of a high frequency multiphase clock.
