Basroparib inhibits YAP‐driven cancers by stabilizing angiomotin
Basroparib, a selective tankyrase inhibitor, suppresses Wnt signaling and attenuates YAP‐driven oncogenic programs by stabilizing angiomotin. It promotes AMOT–YAP complex formation, enforces cytoplasmic YAP sequestration, inhibits YAP/TEAD transcription, and sensitizes YAP‐active cancers, including KRAS‐mutant colorectal cancer, to MEK inhibition.

HSP70 governs permeability and mechanotransduction in primary human endothelial cells
HSP70 chemical inhibition reduces endothelial cell proliferation and increases permeability, the latter supported by normal interendothelial junctional protein distribution. HSP70 also plays a role in shear stress response, a hemodynamic force naturally present in blood vessels and correlated with vessel protection.

Overview of molecular signatures of senescence and associated resources: pros and cons
Cells can enter a stress response state termed cellular senescence that is involved in various diseases and aging. Detecting these cells is challenging due to the lack of universal biomarkers. This review presents the current state of senescence identification, from biomarkers to molecular signatures, compares tools and approaches, and highlights ...

Telescoping Intestine in an Adult
Protrusion of a bowel segment into another (intussusception) produces severe abdominal pain and culminates in intestinal obstruction. In adults, intestinal obstruction due to intussusception is relatively rare phenomenon, as it accounts for minority of ...

Mucosal Prolapse Polyp Mimicking Rectal Malignancy: A Case Report
Mucosal prolapse polyps (MPPs) are rare inflammatory lesions that are part of the mucosal prolapse syndrome. We present the case of a 40-year-old male with history of constipation referred to our institution with suspected rectal malignancy due to ...

Molecular determinants of signal transduction in tropomyosin receptor kinases
Tropomyosin receptor kinases control critical neuronal functions, but how do the same receptors produce diverse cellular responses? This review explores the structural mechanisms behind Trk signaling diversity, focusing on allosteric modulation and ligand bias.

Induction of diabetes in three different mouse strains uniformly resulted in an increase in TNAP activity and a reduction in pyrophosphate (PPi) in the circulation. Inhibition of TNAP restored plasma PPi. Diabetes‐induced calcification in the media layer of the aorta was detected only in the Abcc6−/− strain, which is predisposed to ectopic ...
