Non‐Rigid Motion‐Compensated MR Multitasking for Free‐Breathing Low‐Dose Dynamic Contrast‐Enhanced MRI in the Abdomen

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose To improve free‐breathing low‐dose quantitative dynamic contrast‐enhanced (DCE) MRI for imaging pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. Methods We introduced non‐rigid (NR) motion compensation (MoCo) into MR Multitasking using a novel “in‐subspace” formulation that directly applies motion fields to spatial feature maps (eigenimages ...

High‐intensity interval training vs. moderate‐intensity continuous training in COVID‐19 survivors (COVIDEX): A randomized clinical trial on feasibility and short‐term efficacy

open access: yesPM&R, EarlyView.
Abstract Background High‐intensity interval training (HIIT) and moderate‐intensity continuous training (MICT) have been widely studied in individuals with chronic conditions. However, no studies have compared these two exercise modalities in COVID‐19 survivors. Objective To compare the feasibility, safety, adherence, and short‐term efficacy of HIIT and

Interventional oncology in children: Where are we now?

open access: yesJournal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology, EarlyView.
Abstract Paediatric Interventional Oncology (IO) lags behind adult IO due to a scarcity of specific outcome data. The suboptimal way to evolve this field is relying heavily on adult experiences. The distinct tumour types prevalent in children, such as extracranial germ cell tumours, sarcomas, and neuroblastoma, differ strongly from those found in ...
