Info‐KMeans: Enhancing Wireless Sensor Network Lifetime Through Information‐Aware Clustering
This paper introduces info‐kmeans, a two‐stage wireless sensor network (WSN) protocol, that uses conditional‐entropy‐based sleep scheduling to deactivate informationally redundant nodes, then applies k‐means clustering only to the remaining information‐rich active nodes for energy‐efficient data forwarding.

HOW AGN JETS HEAT THE INTRACLUSTER MEDIUM—INSIGHTS FROM HYDRODYNAMIC SIMULATIONS [PDF]
Feedback from active galactic nuclei (AGNs) is believed to prevent catastrophic cooling in galaxy clusters. However, how the feedback energy is transformed into heat, and how the AGN jets heat the intracluster medium (ICM) isotropically, still remain ...

Cooling rate and turbulence in the intracluster medium of the cool-core cluster Abell 2667 [PDF]
Context. We present a detailed analysis of the thermal X-ray emission from the intracluster medium in the cool-core galaxy cluster Abell 2667 at z = 0.23. Aims.

Free-floating molecular clumps and gas mixing: hydrodynamic aftermaths of the intracluster–interstellar medium interaction [PDF]
The interaction of gas-rich galaxies with the intracluster medium (ICM) of galaxy clusters has a remarkable impact on their evolution, mainly due to the gas loss associated with this process.

From observations to simulations: A neural-network approach to intracluster medium kinematics
We present a systematic comparison between XMM-Newton velocity maps of the Virgo, Centaurus, Ophiuchus, and A3266 clusters and synthetic velocity maps generated from the Illustris TNG-300 simulated clusters.

The Seeding of Cosmic Ray Electrons by Cluster Radio Galaxies: A Review
Radio galaxies in clusters of galaxies are a prominent reservoir of magnetic fields and of non-thermal particles, which become mixed with the intracluster medium.

The Fate of Asymptotic Giant Branch Winds in Massive Galaxies and the Intracluster Medium
Winds from asymptotic giant branch (AGB) stars not only provide mass and energy return, but also produce dust grains in massive elliptical galaxies. Due to the fast stellar velocity, the wind is thought to form a comet-like tail, similar to Mira in the ...
