The Petrosquamous Septum in Children—A Misleading Obstacle or Reliable Landmark? A Radioanatomical Study

open access: yesOtolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective To evaluate the petrosquamous septum in children under 5 years of age and its usefulness as a surgical landmark using computed tomography (CT); to identify petrosquamous stalactite and its relationship to the ossicular chain and external acoustic meatus is also described. Obstruction caused by suprasellar cisterna arachnoid cyst expansion after ventriculoperitoneal shunt in children with hydrocephalus

open access: yesPediatric Investigation, EarlyView.
This article focuses on four cases of hydrocephalus after ventriculoperitoneal (VP) shunt in our center from 2016 to 2021. Imaging follow‐up showed that the secondary suprasellar cisterna arachnoid cyst was enlarged and then formed obstructive hydrocephalus. The clinical symptoms were relieved after a suprasellar cisterna cyst stomy.

Population Pharmacokinetics of Asundexian in People at Risk for Thromboembolic/Cardiovascular Events

open access: yesCPT: Pharmacometrics &Systems Pharmacology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Asundexian is a potent, selective, and reversible inhibitor of activated clotting Factor XI currently under development for secondary prevention of recurrent ischemic stroke in the ongoing Phase III OCEANIC‐STROKE study (NCT05686070). Here, we report the development of a population pharmacokinetic (popPK) model for asundexian.
