Open Problems in Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets Theory

1999
The IFS theory is a relatively new branch of the fuzzy set theory and so there are many unsolved or unformulated problems in it. In the author’s opinion, when speaking of a new theory, it is harmful to discuss in advance whether it would be reasonable to define new concepts in it or not.

Sensor dynamic reliability evaluation based on evidence theory and intuitionistic fuzzy sets

Applied Intelligence, 2018
This paper presents a new method for sensor dynamic reliability evaluation based on evidence theory and intuitionistic fuzzy sets when the prior knowledge is unknown. The dynamic reliability of sensors is evaluated based on supporting degree between basic probability assignments (BPAs) provided by sensors.

SMETS-MAGREZ AXIOMS FOR R-IMPLICATORS IN INTERVAL-VALUED AND INTUITIONISTIC FUZZY SET THEORY

International Journal of Uncertainty, Fuzziness and Knowledge-Based Systems, 2005
Interval-valued fuzzy sets constitute an extension of fuzzy sets which give an interval approximating the "real" (but unknown) membership degree. Interval-valued fuzzy sets are equivalent to intuitionistic fuzzy sets in the sense of Atanassov which give both a membership degree and a non-membership degree, whose sum must be smaller than or equal to 1.

My Personal View on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets Theory

2007
In this chapter, some remarks are given on the history, theory, applications and research on the extension of fuzzy sets model proposed by the author in 1983.

The Definition of Interval-Valued Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets in the Framework of Dempster-Shafer Theory

2014
In this report, a critical analysis of conventional operations on interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy values (\(IVIFVs\)) and their applicability to the solution of multiple criteria decision making (\(MCDM\)) problems in the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy setting are presented.

A New Approach for Bacillus Colonies Recognition: Application of Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets Theory

2008 International Conference on BioMedical Engineering and Informatics, 2008
This paper proposes a new approach for medical diagnosis based on laboratory empirical data using fuzzy set theory. The presented approach is based on intuitionistic fuzzy set (IFSs) theory as a special kind of fuzzy set using two new distance measures between intuitionistic fuzzy sets as a tool in pattern recognition.

Intuitionistic Fuzzy Set Theory with Fair Share CPU Scheduler

2017
CPU Scheduler is one of the crucial modules of any operating system. Operating system uses CPU schedulers based on the requirements. Fair Share CPU scheduler is preferable scheduler by many operating systems. It distributes fixed processor time amongst different parts of a system like groups, users etc. Fixed distribution of processor time can distress

IF Parameterised Intuitionistic Fuzzy Soft Set Theories on Decisions-Making

2015
In this chapter, we introduce the concept of intuitionistic fuzzy parameterised intuitionistic fuzzy soft (ifpifs) sets and their operations with examples. We also define the approximate functions of ifpifs-set from the intuitionistic fuzzy parameterised set to the intuitionistic fuzzy subsets [1] of universal set.
