Multivalent Bi‐Specific Nanoerythrosomes: A Two‐Birds‐One‐Stone Approach to Combine Homologous and Active Targeting for Effective Thrombolysis

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
A multivalent bi‐specific nanoerythrosome (mBiNE@tPA) is developed as a “two‐birds‐one‐stone” platform that simultaneously exploits two principal thrombus components. By integrating erythrocyte membrane‐mediated homologous targeting with cRGD‐based active targeting to activated platelets, mBiNE@tPA achieves enhanced thrombus accumulation, triggered ...

Active pH Modulation by Proton Channel‐Peptide Nucleic Acid Complex for Effective siRNA Endosomal Escape

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
A bioinspired siRNA nanocarrier is engineered by integrating an influenza A M2 proton channel with siRNA through a peptide nucleic acid linker on liposome surfaces. Active proton transport amplifies osmotic stress within endosomes, triggering membrane rupture and cytosolic release.

White light emitting molecular logic gates

open access: yesSmart Molecules, EarlyView.
White light emitting smart molecules with Boolean logic computing ability are surveyed. Abstract White light emitting (WLE) materials are of considerable interest with commercial and societal applications in video displays and lighting devices. A characteristic property of WLE materials is the luminescence profile spanning from 380 to 700 nm.

A Detailed and Comprehensive Account of Fractional Physics‐Informed Neural Networks: From Implementation to Efficiency

open access: yesArtificial Intelligence for Engineering, EarlyView.
Caputo‐based fPINNs accurately solve fractional ODEs and PDEs while exposing an accuracy–cost trade‐off driven by the history‐dependent fractional derivative. Temporal collocation and shorter time windows are the most effective strategies for improving early‐time accuracy without unnecessary spatial refinement.

H2CD: Semantic‐Enhanced Heterogeneous Hypergraph Network With Large Language Model for Cognitive Diagnosis

open access: yesCAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Cognitive diagnosis aims to infer learners' knowledge states from their exercise responses, enabling personalised education at scale. Existing methods represent exercises solely by coarse‐grained knowledge component annotations, overlooking semantic content and step‐level cognitive processes.

Development of ± 550 kV DC GIS Basin Insulator

open access: yesHigh Voltage, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The basin insulator is a core component of the insulation system for ± 550 kV gas‐insulated switchgear (GIS). This paper, using a finite element method for multi‐physics simulations of electric–thermal coupling, determines a geometry suitable for the industrial production of ± 550 kV GIS basin insulators.

Zero‐Current Switching Based Model Predictive Control of a Double‐Extended Overlapped Alternate Arm Converter Used in the VSC–HVDC System

open access: yesHigh Voltage, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The alternate arm converter (AAC) is one of the most efficient multilevel topologies based on voltage source converters (VSCs), which has recently gained attention in various applications, particularly in high voltage direct current (HVDC) systems.

Reducing acquisition time and radiation damage: data‐driven subsampling for spectro‐microscopy

open access: yesJournal of Synchrotron Radiation, EarlyView.
Data‐driven sparse acquisition in spectro‐microscopy reduces acquisition time and radiation dose while preserving information.Spectro‐microscopy is an experimental technique which can be used to observe spatial variations in chemical state and changes in chemical state over time or under experimental conditions.

Origin and application of the Lorentz factor in X‐ray diffraction

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section A, EarlyView.
This review treats the role of the Lorentz factor in quantitative analysis of X‐ray diffraction data. The origin of the Lorentz factor, its derivation and practical implementations for a variety of modern X‐ray diffraction methods are discussed. The Lorentz factor is a fundamental correction factor in quantitative analysis of X‐ray diffraction ...
