The LHC di-photon excess at 750 GeV
I review the main features and some of the theoretical attempts to explain the excess around an invariant mass of 750 GeV seen in 2015 at the LHC in the di-photon channel. As this hint to new physics has now all but disappeared from the higher-luminosity

Examples of naturally reductive pseudo-Riemannian Lie groups
We provide examples of naturally reductive pseudo-Riemannian spaces, in particular an example of a naturally reductive pseudo-Riemannian 2-step nilpotent Lie group $(N, _N)$, such that $_N$ is invariant under a left action and for which the center is ...

A topological invariant of RG flows in 2D integrable quantum field theories [PDF]
We construct a topological invariant of the renormalization group trajectories of a large class of 2D quantum integrable models, described by the thermodynamic Bethe ansatz approach.

Are there testable discrete Poincaré invariant physical theories? [PDF]
In a model of physics taking place on a discrete set of points that approximates Minkowski space, one might perhaps expect there to be an empirically identifiable preferred frame. However, the work of Dowker et al (2004 Mod. Phys. Lett. A 19 1829-40) and Bombelli et al (2009 Mod. Phys. Lett.

The inactivation of SLC35C1 (GDP‐fucose transporter) and enzymes involved in GDP‐fucose biosynthesis was studied. Fucose supplementation increases the level of GDP‐fucose to abnormal, millimolar values in the absence of the TSTA3 protein and SLC35C1 in contrast to the GMDS/SLC35C1 double mutant.

In 1969, Jean-Marie Souriau introduced a “Lie Groups Thermodynamics” in Statistical Mechanics in the framework of Geometric Mechanics. This Souriau’s model considers the statistical mechanics of dynamic systems in their “space of evolution” associated to

Matrix: a complex amalgam of structures and functions in tumor microenvironment
The matrix is a dynamic, intricate three‐dimensional mesh of biomolecules with both structural and functional properties. This review deals with the complexity of this ‘molecular amalgam’ in the tumor microenvironment and highlights its importance in the maintenance and evolution of tumors by describing certain matrix biomolecules, such as ...

Risk analysis of the Unity 1.5T MR‐Linac adapt‐to‐shape workflow
Abstract Background and Purpose The adapt‐to‐shape (ATS) workflow on the Unity MR‐Linac (Elekta AB, Stockholm, Sweden) allows for full replanning including recontouring and reoptimization5. Additional complexity to this workflow is added when the adaptation involves the use of MIM Maestro (MIM Software, Cleveland, OH) software in conjunction with ...
