In a murine model of myocardial ischemia and reperfusion (MI/R), the CD36 azapeptide ligand MPE‐298 reduces cardiac injury and transiently lowers left ventricular long‐chain fatty acids (LCFAs) accumulation 3 h after reperfusion, accompanied by a decrease of oxidative stress and inflammation‐associated genes' expression in the heart and adipose tissue.

Optimal Demand for Contingent Claims when Agents have law Invariant Utilities. [PDF]
We consider a class of law invariant utilities which contains the Rank Dependent Expected Utility (RDU) and the cumulative prospect theory (CPT). We show that the computation of demand for a contingent claim when utilities are within that class, although

On invariant zeros of linear systems of PDEs
In this paper we provide a behavioral framework in which to describe and extend the concept of linear dynamics introduced by Fliess, from the one dimensional (1D) to the multidimensional (nD) framework. We provide an alternative description of the ...

The invariant fields of the Sylow groups of classical groups in the natural characteristic [PDF]
Let X be any finite classical group defined over a finite field of characteristic p > 0. In this article, we determine the fields of rational invariants for the Sylow p-subgroups of X, acting on the natural module.

Crossing invariant correlation functions at c = 1 from isomonodromic τ functions
We present an approach that gives rigorous construction of a class of crossing invariant functions in c = 1 CFTs from the weakly invariant distributions on the moduli space M 0 , 4 SL s ℂ $$ {\mathcal{M}}_{0,4}^{\mathrm{SL}\left(s,\mathbb{C}\right ...

Hydrostatic pressure activates HIF‐1α via β‐catenin to promote stemness in breast cancer cells
To mimic the elevated intestinal fluid pressure in breast cancers, we loaded human breast cancer cells (MCF‐7, MDA‐MB‐453, and BT‐474) to 50 mmHg hydrostatic pressure. Hydrostatic pressure exposure upregulated HIF‐1α and induced stemness in MCF‐7 and BT‐474 cells.

A Compact and Complete AFMT Invariant with Application to Face Recognition
In this paper, we present a complete set of hybrid similarity invariants under the Analytical Fourier-Mellin Transform (AFMT) framework, and apply it to invariant face recognition. Because the magnitude and phase spectra are not processed separately,

Lorentz invariant field theory on κ-Minkowski space
It is by now well established that the momentum space associated with the non-commutative κ-Minkowski space is a submanifold of de Sitter space. It has been noted recently that field theories built on such momentum space suffer from a subtle form of ...

Molecular characterization of covRS mutations in M1UK Streptococcus pyogenes
Group A Streptococcus (GAS) acquires covRS mutations driving a hypervirulent bacterial state, frequently associated with invasive disease‐like necrotizing fasciitis. We demonstrate that the newly emerged M1UK GAS lineage can also acquire these mutations.

Globally conformal invariant gauge field theory with rational correlation functions
Operator product expansions (OPE) for the product of a scalar field with its conjugate are presented as infinite sums of bilocal fields $V_{\kappa} (x_1, x_2)$ of dimension $(\kappa, \kappa)$.
