Robust inventory control systems
Proceedings of the 2004 American Control Conference, 2004Further developments of the inventory control strategy are studied in this brief. We use high gain (sliding mode) adaptive control to handle the system uncertainties caused by modeling errors and unmeasured disturbances. It is proven that this control law makes the uncertain system globally stable. The parameters of the resulting controller are easy to

In multi-retailer inventory control the possibility of sharing setup costs motivates communication and coordination among the retailers. We solve the problem of finding suboptimal distributed reordering policies that minimize setup, ordering, storage, and shortage costs incurred by the retailers over a finite horizon.

Inventory control of by‐products
Naval Research Logistics Quarterly, 1969AbstractThe system to be controlled produces n products simultaneously in fixed proportions every time it is activated.
