Model-free derivations of the Tsallis factor: constant heat capacity derivation

open access: yes, 2002
The constant temperature derivation, which is a model-free derivation of the Boltzmann factor, is generalized in order to develop a new simple model-free derivation of a power-law Tsallis factor based on an environment with constant heat capacity.

Comparative Effectiveness and Safety of Inebilizumab Versus Rituximab in AQP4‐IgG‐Positive NMOSD

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Rituximab (anti‐CD20, RTX) and inebilizumab (anti‐CD19, INE) represent B‐cell‐depleting therapies used for aquaporin‐4 antibody‐positive (AQP4‐IgG+) neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD); however, direct comparative evidence remains limited.

Simplifying Algebra in Feynman Graphs, Part III: Massive Vectors

open access: yes, 2001
A T-dualized selfdual inspired formulation of massive vector fields coupled to arbitrary matter is generated; subsequently its perturbative series modeling a spontaneously broken gauge theory is analyzed.

Principal Bautin ideal of monodromic singularities with inverse integrating factors

open access: yesJournal of Differential Equations
We analyze the structure of the Poincaré map $Π$ associated to a monodromic singularity of an analytic family of planar vector fields. We work under two assumptions. The first one is that the family possesses an inverse integrating factor that can be expanded in Laurent series centered at the singularity after a weighted polar blow-up fixed by the ...

Spatial and Volumetric Characteristics of Glioblastoma: Associations With Clinical Presentation and Survival

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective We aim to comprehensively analyze how regional tumor and edema characteristics are associated with clinical presentations and survival outcomes in a large cohort of glioblastoma patients. Methods Patients with IDH‐wildtype glioblastoma who received brain MRI from 2010 to 2023 were included.

Interplay of symmetries, null forms, Darboux polynomials, integrating factors and Jacobi multipliers in integrable second order differential equations

open access: yes, 2014
In this work, we establish a connection between the extended Prelle-Singer procedure (Chandrasekar \textit{et al.} Proc. R. Soc. A 2005) with five other analytical methods which are widely used to identify integrable systems in the contemporary ...

MOGAD Is the Most Common Cause of Isolated Optic Neuritis in Children

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives The study aimed to characterize the clinical features, etiologies, and outcomes of isolated, first‐time pediatric ON in the post‐MOG‐IgG era. Methods This was a single‐center retrospective cohort study at Texas Children's Hospital of patients diagnosed with first‐time ON between 2018–2024, with follow‐up data collected through 2025.
