Combinatorial Gelfand models for some semigroups and q-rook monoid algebras [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Inspired by the results of [R. Adin, A. Postnikov, Y. Roichman, Combinatorial Gelfand model, preprint math.RT arXiv:0709.3962], we propose combinatorial Gelfand models for semigroup algebras of some finite semigroups, which include the symmetric inverse ...

A supersymmetric electroweak scale seesaw model

open access: yes, 2017
In this paper we propose a novel supersymmetric inverse seesaw model which has only one additional $Z_6$ symmetry. The field content is minimal to get a viable neutrino spectrum at tree-level.

Feedback control by online learning an inverse model [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
A model, predictor, or error estimator is often used by a feedback controller to control a plant. Creating such a model is difficult when the plant exhibits nonlinear behavior.

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

High-Resolution Inversion of GOSAT-2 Retrievals for Sectoral Methane Emission Estimates During 2019–2022: A Consistency Analysis with GOSAT Inversion

open access: yesRemote Sensing
We employed a global high-resolution inverse model to estimate sectoral methane emissions, integrating observations from the GOSAT-2 satellite for the first time, along with observations from the surface observation network.

Decoupling Control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor With Support Vector Regression Inverse System Method

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Inverse system method is effective for controlling permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). A novel support vector regression(SVR) inverse system method is proposed to realize decoupling control of PMSM in the article.

A Novel Adaptive LSSVR-Based Inverse Optimal Controller With Integrator for Nonlinear Non-Affine Systems

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
In this study, a novel inverse optimal controller based on NARMA-L2 modelling technique and online least squares support vector regression (LSSVR) method has been proposed for nonlinear non-affine systems.

Cytoplasmic p21 promotes stemness of colon cancer cells via activation of the NFκB pathway

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cytoplasmic p21 promotes colorectal cancer stem cell (CSC) features by destabilizing the NFκB–IκB complex, activating NFκB signaling, and upregulating BCL‐xL and COX2. In contrast to nuclear p21, cytoplasmic p21 enhances spheroid formation and stemness transcription factor CD133.

New Statistical Approaches for Modeling the COVID-19 Data Set: A Case Study in the Medical Sector

open access: yesComplexity, 2022
Statistical distributions have great applicability for modeling data in almost every applied sector. Among the available classical distributions, the inverse Weibull distribution has received considerable attention. In the practice of distribution theory,

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.
