Unleashing the Power of Machine Learning in Nanomedicine Formulation Development
A random forest machine learning model is able to make predictions on nanoparticle attributes of different nanomedicines (i.e. lipid nanoparticles, liposomes, or PLGA nanoparticles) based on microfluidic formulation parameters. Machine learning models are based on a database of nanoparticle formulations, and models are able to generate unique solutions

Epitaxial piezoelectric α‐quartz/Si BioNEMS sensors, made using soft chemistry, effectively detect the Chikungunya virus. They have a mass sensitivity of 205 pg Hz−1 in liquid and can detect the virus at a limit of 9 ng mL−1. This development enables high‐frequency mass devices for point‐of‐care testing in healthcare and other electronic applications ...

Inducing Chirality and Chiral Instabilities in Ferrogels with Homogenous Magnetic Fields
By pre‐aligning magnetic particles into chains, significant chiral deformations are induced by fixing the base of a cylindrical actuator and applying a homogeneous magnetic field. Subsequent base rotation can drive the system into metastable states. Further rotation or reduction of field strength triggers a chiral instability, characterized by a switch

The highly anisotropic Fermi surface of bismuth results in variations in magnetotransport properties across different crystallographic directions, which can be characterized by studying microcrystals. To avoid the observed surface melting under room temperature Focused Ion Beam (FIB) irradiation, two low‐temperature FIB fabrication methods are proposed
