Distance protection and fault location of the PV power plants distribution lines

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering, 2019
Unlike the synchronous generators, the short-circuit current provided by the photovoltaic (PV) sources is limited by the grid-connected inverters and closely related to the normal conditions, which impacts the protection of the power systems.

Exploiting metabolic adaptations to overcome dabrafenib treatment resistance in melanoma cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We show that dabrafenib‐resistant melanoma cells undergo mitochondrial remodeling, leading to elevated respiration and ROS production balanced by stronger antioxidant defenses. This altered redox state promotes survival despite mitochondrial damage but renders resistant cells highly vulnerable to ROS‐inducing compounds such as PEITC, highlighting redox

Efficient and Weighting Factor‐Free Predictive Current Control for Three‐Level PMSM Drives via Cost Function Division

open access: yesIET Electric Power Applications
The conventional model predictive current control (MPCC) of a three‐level neutral‐point‐clamped (3L‐NPC) inverter‐fed permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drive suffers from enormous computational stress due to the evaluation of comprehensive ...

Resilient decentralised control of inverter-interfaced distributed energy sources in low-voltage distribution grids

open access: yesIET Smart Grid, 2019
This study shows that a relation can be found between the voltage at the terminals of an inverter-interfaced renewable energy source (RES) and its optimal reactive power support.

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

Common mode voltage elimination in dual-inverter-fed six-phase open-end winding PMSM drives with a single DC supply

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering, 2019
This paper proposes a space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) technique to eliminate common mode voltage (CMV) and common mode current for dual-inverter six-phase open-end winding PMSM motor drive fed from a single DC supply.

Fabrication of CMOS Invertors in Si Thin-Film-Transistors by Laser Doping Using a Chemical Solution Coating

open access: yesIEEE Journal of the Electron Devices Society, 2020
We demonstrated that p- and n-type activation layers can be formed in Si films by laser doping with H3PO4 solution and Al2O3 sol coating. The phosphorus and aluminum concentrations at the laser doped region were found to be over 1019 cm-3 in Si films. In

Experimental evaluation of an energy storage system for medium voltage distribution grids enabling solid‐state substation functionality

open access: yesIET Smart Grid, 2021
“Smart grids” is a new concept of managing the power transfer in modern grids that will rely not only on the on‐line processing of a variety of consumption and generation power data but will also need new hardware to facilitate a flexible and efficient ...
