Vacuum-UV negative photoion spectroscopy of CH4 [PDF]
Using synchrotron radiation in the range 12-35 eV, negative ions are detected by mass spectrometry following vacuum-UV photoexcitation of methane. Ion yields for H\(^-\), CH\(^-\) and CH\(_2^-\) are recorded, the spectra of CH\(^-\) and CH\(_2^-\) for ...

Resonant ion-pair formation in electron recombination with HF^+ [PDF]
The cross section for resonant ion-pair formation in the collision of low-energy electrons with HF^+ is calculated by the solution of the time-dependent Schrodinger equation with multiple coupled states using a wave packet method.

PVC Membrane Sensor and Wire Coated Electrode for Determination of Flurazepam
Flurazepam is a benzodiazepine derivative which possesses anxiolytic, anticonvulsant, sedative and skeletal muscle relaxant properties. This research introduces two kinds of PVC membrane sensor (symmetric and asymmetric) for determination of flurazepam ...

We report that anion-π and cation-π interactions can occur on the same aromatic surface. Interactions of this type are referred to as ion pair-π interactions. Their existence, nature, and significance are elaborated in the context of spectral tuning, ion binding in solution, and activation of cell-penetrating peptides.

Chemically modified field effect transistors: the effect of ion-pair association on the membrane potentials [PDF]
A theoretical model has been developed which relates physically accessible parameters to the formation of a membrane potential. The description is an extension of a theoretical description presented previously by our group, now including divalent cations
