Ion Ni2+ di Dalam Air; Pembentukan Fungsi Potensial Intermolekul

open access: yesIndonesian Journal of Chemistry, 2010
Pair potential function of Ni2+-H2O system has been constructed by ab initio method at UHF (Unrestricted Hartre-Fock) level. The basis sets used for energy interaction calculation were LANL2 Double-z ECP of Hay and Wadt for Ni2+ and Double-z Polarization

Monte Carlo model for electron degradation in methane

open access: yes, 2015
We present a Monte Carlo model for degradation of 1-10,000 eV electrons in an atmosphere of methane. The electron impact cross sections for CH4 are compiled and analytical representations of these cross sections are used as input to the model.model.Yield

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Quantification of DNA Products Using Ion-Pair Reverse Phase Liquid Chromatography [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
The transcription of DNA via RNA polymerases is a fundamental process in cellular systems. In eukaryotic cells, we observe transcription in the nucleus (via genomic DNA) as well as in the mitochondria (via mitochondrial DNA).

When spectroscopy fails: The measurement of ion pairing [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Spectroscopic techniques such as UV/vis, NMR, and Raman are powerful tools for the investigation of chemical speciation in solution. However, it is not widely recognized that such techniques do not always provide reliable information about ion ...

Identification of serum protein biomarkers for pre‐cancerous lesions associated with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This work identified serum proteins associated with pancreatic epithelial neoplasms (PanINs) and early‐stage PDAC. Proteomics screens assessed genetically engineered mice with abundant PanINs, KPC mice (Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐KrasG12D/+ Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐Trp53R172H/+ Pdx1‐Cre) before PDAC development and also early‐stage PDAC patients (n = 31), compared to benign ...

Thermodynamics of Ion-Containing Polymer Blends and Block Copolymers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
We develop a theory for the thermodynamics of ion-containing polymer blends and diblock copolymers, taking polyethylene oxide (PEO), polystyrene and lithium salts as an example.

Rydberg atom scattering in K(12p)-CH3NO2 collisions: role of transient ion pair formation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Studies of K(12p)-CH3NO2 collisions reveal unusually strong Rydberg atom scattering which is attributed to the formation of transient K+..CH3NO2 − ion-pair ...

Targeted modulation of IGFL2‐AS1 reveals its translational potential in cervical adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cervical adenocarcinoma patients face worse outcomes than squamous cell carcinoma counterparts despite similar treatment. The identification of IGFL2‐AS1's differential expression provides a molecular basis for distinguishing these histotypes, paving the way for personalized therapies and improved survival in vulnerable populations globally.
