Electrochemistry of ion-selective electrodes
Sensors and Actuators, 1981Ion-Selective Electrodes (ISEs) for measurement of activities of species in aqueous and mixed solvents, or partial pressures of dissolved gases in water, are mainly membrane-based devices, involve permselective, ion-conducting materials. The electrodes are generally used in the potentiometric (zero-current) mode, and they superficially resemble ...

Dibazol ion-selective electrodes
Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis, 1987Liquid-membrane and polyvinylchloride membrane dibazol ion-selective electrodes have been developed. They are based on ion-pair complexes of dibazol with dicyclohexylnaphthalene sulphonate, diisopentylnaphthalene sulphonate, diisobutylnaphthalene sulphonate and tetraphenylborate.

Abstract The invention of ion-selective microelectrodes (ISMs) has opened up new possibilities for experimental physiology. The measurement of the activity of specific types of ions in different cells and in the extracellular space, together with the resting potential, action potential, and extracellular potential shifts, has increased ...
