Spectrum of Sn5+ in the Region 500–1300 Å

open access: yesAtoms, 2017
The spectrum of tin, excited in a vacuum spark, was recorded in the region 500–1131 Å on a 6.65-m normal incidence spectrograph. The transitions between 4d85s, 4d86s, 4d85p and 4d85d excited configurations in Sn VI were studied.

A unified formalism to study transverse momentum spectra in heavy-ion collision

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2020
The study of transverse momentum spectra is crucial to understand the nature of matter produced during heavy-ion collisions. The pT-spectra in a heavy-ion collision consists of a low pT-region where soft processes dominate particle production, whereas ...

Spectra of W VIII and W IX in the EUV Region

open access: yesAtoms, 2015
The results obtained on the W VIII spectrum as well as on the isoelectronic spectra Lu V, Hf VI, Ta VII, and Re IX in the VUV wavelength region are summarized with emphasis on the main trends along the isoelectronic sequence.

COSIMA data analysis using multivariate techniques [PDF]

open access: yesGeoscientific Instrumentation, Methods and Data Systems, 2015
We describe how to use multivariate analysis of complex TOF-SIMS (time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry) spectra by introducing the method of random projections.

A de novo MS1 feature detector for the Bruker timsTOF Pro

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2022
Identification of peptides by analysis of data acquired by the two established methods for bottom-up proteomics, DDA and DIA, relies heavily on the fragment spectra.

Benchmark shielding calculations for fusion and accelerator-driven sub-critical systems

open access: yesFrontiers in Energy Research, 2023
We conducted benchmark calculations of neutron-shielding experiments for fusion applications such as (1) Neutron spectra in iron shields with 14 MeV neutrons; and (2) Leakage neutron spectra from various sphere piles by 14 MeV neutrons, and for ...

Direct detection and identification of active pharmaceutical ingredients in intact tablets by helium plasma ionization (HePI) mass spectrometry

open access: yesJournal of Pharmaceutical Analysis, 2014
A simple modification converts an electrospray ion source to an ambient-pressure helium plasma ionization source without the need of additional expensive hardware.

Adsorption of the Meso-Tetra-p-Tolylporphyrin (TTPH2) and Meso-Tetra-Naphthylporphyrin (TNPH2) onto Montmorillonite

open access: yesJournal of the Turkish Chemical Society, Section A: Chemistry, 2023
The behavior of two porphyrin compounds, meso-tetra-p-tolylporphyrin (TTPH2) and meso-tetra-naphthylporphyrin (TNPH2) was studied and monitored during their adsorption on cation-exchanged montmorillonite clay (MMT).

Excess of Soft Dielectrons and Photons

open access: yesUniverse, 2020
Spectra of unbound electron–positron pairs (dielectrons, in brief) and photons from decays of parapositronia produced in ultraperipheral collisions of electrically charged objects are calculated.

Ion identity molecular networking for mass spectrometry-based metabolomics in the GNPS environment

open access: yesNature Communications, 2021
Molecular networking connects mass spectra of molecules based on the similarity of their fragmentation patterns. However, during ionization, molecules commonly form multiple ion species with different fragmentation behavior.
