“Active Flux” DTFC-SVM Sensorless Control of IPMSM

IEEE Transactions on Energy Conversion, 2009
This paper proposes an implementation of a motionsensorless control system in wide speed range based on "active flux" observer, and direct torque and flux control with space vector modulation (DTFC-SVM) for the interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM), without signal injection.

Some proposals for teaching the technology of IPMSM

The 2010 International Power Electronics Conference - ECCE ASIA -, 2010
Today, interior permanent magnet synchronous machine (IPMSM) is the most important machine for medium and small capacity adjustable-speed drives. It is very important to teach its technology to the university students and the engineers in this field. Six important proposals are suggested.

Sensorless Control of IPMSM by Voltage Injection

2006
In this paper a sensorless discrete current control of an Interior Permanent Magnet Synchrouns Motor (IPMSM) by voltage injection is designed and tested. The whole controller is operating in the dq-frame and for this reason the rotor position is essential to know, to transform between the stationary frame and the rotor xed dq-frame.
