Dual targeting of RET and SRC synergizes in RET fusion‐positive cancer cells
Despite the strong activity of selective RET tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), resistance of RET fusion‐positive (RET+) lung cancer and thyroid cancer frequently occurs and is mainly driven by RET‐independent bypass mechanisms. Son et al. show that SRC TKIs significantly inhibit PAK and AKT survival signaling and enhance the efficacy of RET TKIs in ...

Maximum Efficiency per Torque Control of Permanent-Magnet Synchronous Machines
High-efficiency permanent-magnet synchronous machine (PMSM) drive systems need not only optimally designed motors but also efficiency-oriented control strategies. However, the existing control strategies only focus on partial loss optimization.

The Estimation Method Comparison of Iron Loss Coefficients through the Iron Loss Calculation
A new calculation method for iron loss coefficients is proposed by using the Steinmetz equation from Epstein data. The hysteresis loss must have linear characteristic according to the frequency. However, the existing iron loss coefficients are defined by formula of frequency. In this case, the hysteresis loss has non-linear characteristics by frequency.

Energy loss spectra of iron [PDF]
Abstract We present experimental and theoretical studies of the spectra of electrons backscattered from iron. The single surface and bulk excitation ratio in the energy range between 500 and 4000 eV are calculated. The contribution of single inelastically scattered electrons is derived from a dielectric response theory and from the ...

Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

KHS‐Cnd peptide is able to impair biofilm formation and disaggregate mature biofilms in Acinetobacter baumannii clinical isolates. Differences in extracellular metabolites reflect changes in biofilm metabolism due to KHS‐Cnd treatment. Among the differentially represented extracellular metabolites upon KHS‐Cnd treatment, the significantly altered ...

Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐
