The Impact of Catalyst Layer Composition and Structure on Performance and Durability of PEMWE Anodes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This article explores a new type of anode for water electrolysis that uses less iridium, a rare and expensive metal. By combining stable iridium oxide with platinum and carbon‐based materials, the authors create a catalyst layer that maintains strong performance.

Periodic Accretion Instabilities in the Protostar L1634 IRS 7

open access: yes, 2015
The small molecular cloud Lynds 1634 contains at least three outflow sources. We found one of these, IRS 7, to be variable with a period of 37.14 +/- 0.04 days and an amplitude of approximately 2 mag in the Ks band.

Ikimokyklinio ir priešmokyklinio ugdymo pokyčiai: ir nerimas, ir džiaugsmas

open access: yes, 2020

Donor‐Substituted C(sp3)‐Bridged Phosphorus‐Heterotriangulenes as Blue Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescence Emitters

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
The newly developed regioselective strategy for the para‐functionalization of C(sp3)‐bridged phosphorus‐centered heterotriangulene delivers a series of donor‐acceptor emitters exhibiting thermally activated delayed fluorescence. The carbazole‐substituted compounds feature a unique combination of high photoluminescence quantum yields up to 75%, deep ...

Effect of Host Anisotropy on Phosphorescent Emitter Orientation and Light Outcoupling in OLEDs

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
The orientation of the emissive transition dipole moment of a cage‐type Iridium complex can be tuned by the anisotropic alignment of the cohost material, which is expressed as the S$S$ parameter of the film. Thus, the external quantum efficiency of OLEDs can be further enhanced to reach values above 30%.

Strawberry Notch 1 Acts as a Transcriptional Regulator Driving Oncogenic Programs in Liver Carcinogenesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reports that SBNO1 protein is upregulated in several cancer entities. SBNO1 protein interacts with the basal transcription factor TFIID via TAF4, enabling its recruitment to transcription start sites and the modulation of target gene expression.

Regulating Tumor Metabolic Reprogramming with Biomimetic Co‐Delivery of Simvastatin and Kynureninase for Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
After the intravenous injection of biomimetic and pH/ROS‐responsive PTSK@CRM, the nanoparticles can be accumulated in tumors and release Sim and KYNase to inhibit the tumor growth, regulate the metabolism of cholesterol and Kyn, and reverse the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment.

VLTI observations of IRS~3: The brightest compact MIR source at the Galactic Centre

open access: yes, 2005
The dust enshrouded star IRS~3 in the central light year of our galaxy was partially resolved in a recent VLTI experiment. The presented observation is the first step in investigating both IRS~3 in particular and the stellar population of the Galactic ...
