Glycosylation of 6-methylflavone by the strain Isaria fumosorosea KCH J2

open access: yesPLOS ONE, 2017
Entomopathogenic fungi are known for their ability to carry out glycosylation of flavonoids, which usually results in the improvement of their stability and bioavailability. In this study we used a newly isolated strain of the entomopathogenic filamentous fungus Isaria fumosorosea KCH J2 as a biocatalyst.

Tobacco Growth Promotion by the Entomopathogenic Fungus, Isaria javanica pf185

open access: yesMycobiology, 2019
Isaria javanica pf185 is an important entomopathogenic fungus with potential for use as an agricultural biocontrol agent. However, the effect of I. javanica pf185 on plant growth is unknown. Enhanced tobacco growth was observed when tobacco roots were exposed to spores, cultures, and fungal cell-free culture supernatants of this fungus.

Characterization and Identification of Isaria fumosorosea metabolite

open access: yes, 2015
The fungi in the genus Isaria produce a variety of inhibitory metabolites. Typically, Isaria are known as entomopathogenic fungi. However, we have isolated a strain of this fungus that produces a metabolite that inhibits the growth of other fungi.

Pathogenic activity of Isaria spp. for control of Dactylopius opuntiae (Hemiptera: Dactylopiideae) and the effects of selected insecticides

open access: yes, 2019
We analyzed the activity of the entomopathogenic fungi Isaria farinosa, I. fumosorosea and I. javanica against the cochineal Dactylopius opuntiae, as well as the effects of the insecticides clorpirifos, acetamiprid, thiamethoxam and lambda-cyhalothrin on
