Isoantigens of Gamma Globulin in Pigs

Science, 1965
Two gamma globulin isoantigens in pigs have been identified by hemagglutination-inhibition tests. Two codominant autosomal alleles, Gl a and Gl b , determine three phenotypes, Gl(a+b-), Gl(a+b+), and Gl(a-b+).

Isoantigens ABO in cervical neoplasia

Gynecologic Oncology, 1972
Abstract Some human tissues contain antigens identical to blood group A or B isoantigens which can be detected by the mixed-cell agglutination reaction in paraffin sections even if the sections are several years old. This technique was utilized in this study to identify A or B isoantigens in 74 cases of normal cervical epithelium, 46 cases of cervical

Solubilization of Human Leucocyte Membrane Isoantigens

Nature, 1968
ISOANTIGENS, thought to be important as histocompatibility antigens, have been identified on membranes of human cells by serological techniques1. In order to interpret serological studies of histocompatibility antigens in terms of an understanding of the molecular representation of gene information, the isoantigens must be obtained in a suitable state ...

A, B, and H isoantigens in the human fetus

Developmental Biology, 1973
Abstract We studied the appearance of isoantigens A, B, and H during the fertilization age in human embryos and fetuses with the specific red cell adherence (SRCA) test. The first positive reaction was found in endothelial cells of a 4-wk-old embryo. In 6-wk-old embryos the isoantigens appeared on the luminal surface of the epithelium of the stomach ...

History of Foreign Embryonic IsoAntigens

American Journal of Reproductive Immunology, 2013
After defining the term ‘foreign embryonic isoantigens’, the author describes the experimental sequence which has allowed this new fetoprotein class to be identified. Experiments have followed three different directions, namely (i) passive immunization, by which conceptus antibodies raised in another animal species are transferred to the female animal,

Isoantigens ABH in Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia

American Journal of Clinical Pathology, 1976
The purpose of the study was to examine the relationship between the histologic findings and the presence or absence of ABH isoantigens in intraepithelial neoplasia of the cervix. After the lesions were graded by four pathologists, the Red Cell Adherence (RCA) test was done to demonstrate the ABH antigens, and the results of the two were compared.
