Results in the determination of some Hosta varieties by the method of isoelectric focusing
Mass propagation of 5 newly introduced Hosta varieties was carried out by the method of micropropagation. Our aim was to determine exact variety specificity after the micropropagation period in the pattern of peroxidase isoenzymes by isoelectric focusing

MagPiezo enables wireless activation of endogenous Piezo1 channels without genetic modification using 19 nm magnetic nanoparticles and low‐intensity magnetic fields. It generates torque forces at the piconewton scale to trigger mechanotransduction in endothelial cells, standing as a novel platform to interrogate and manipulate Piezo1 activity in vitro.

Isoelectric focusing of Chlamydia trachomatis [PDF]
HeLa-229 cells and the elementary bodies of Chlamydia trachomatis had a net negative electrical surface charge at neutral pH when measured by isoelectric focusing. Inclusion-forming and non-inclusion-forming elementary bodies focused in one band at pI 4.64.

Isoelectric focusing of mycoplasma proteins [PDF]
Polyacrylamide gel isoelectric focusing (PAGIF) in thin layer was used to resolve proteins of Mycoplasma spp., Acholeplasma spp., and eight strains of Ureaplasma urealyticum (T-strain). A mixture of urea, Triton X-100, and dithioerythritol was used to solubilize sonically disrupted cells. PAGIF was performed in the range of pH 3 to 10. Protein patterns

Antigenic and biochemical characterization of bovine rotavirus V1005, a new member of rotavirus serotype 10 [PDF]
Bovine rotavirus (BRV) V1005 is serologically distinct from rotavirus serotypes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9. BRV V1005 showed cross-reactions with BRV B223, the American prototype of serotype 10 rotavirus, and with BRV E4049, a British serotype 10 isolate.
