Inter- and intra-population genetic variability of introduced silkworm (Bombyx mori L.) strains raised in Bulgaria [PDF]
The genetic variability of four populations belonging to two introduced silkworm strains (Bombyx mori L.) of various origins has been studied using isoenzymic analysis of six enzyme systems. Nonspecific esterases, phosphoglucomutase, malate dehydrogenase,

ABSTRACT A series of novel chiral urea and thiourea compounds were designed as multitarget‐directed ligands for Alzheimer's disease and evaluated against hAChE, hBChE, and hMAO‐B, with exploratory assessment of HSD10. These chiral compounds were synthesized and fully characterized, and their enantiopurity was confirmed via HPLC.

A fatal 3‐chloro‐phencyclidine (3‐Cl‐PCP) intoxication was investigated by analyzing postmortem samples and a pooled human liver microsomes assay. Tentative metabolite identification was performed by liquid chromatography‐quadrupole time‐of‐flight mass spectrometry (LC‐QTOF‐MS). Seven phase I metabolites were identified.

Alkaline Phosphatase Isoenzymes
Properties which differentiate the alkaline phosphatases from several human tissues are reviewed, together with ways in which these properties can be exploited to determine the tissues of origin of serum alkaline phosphatase. Examples are given of the results of the application of this approach to diagnostic problems.

Mor activates the PI3K/AKT pathway to promote Nrf2 nuclear translocation and HO‐1 expression, enhancing antioxidants, curbing Fe2+‐induced ROS/lipid peroxidation, suppressing ferroptosis, and alleviating Dox‐induced cardiotoxicity. ABSTRACT Cardiotoxicity induced by doxorubicin (Dox) significantly contributes to increased mortality among cancer ...
