Isolated pneumaturia

The American Journal of Medicine, 1985
Sixteen patients with pneumaturia as their only urologic complaint were evaluated during a 38-year period. In three patients, a vesico-enteric fistula was documented. Five patients had an otherwise asymptomatic urinary tract infection. In eight patients, no pathologic process could be identified.

Isolated chylopericardium

The Surgeon, 2003
A 25-year-old male was discovered to have an asymptomatic pericardial effusion during routine pre-employment medical evaluation. During pericardiocentesis 1200 ml of milky-white fluid was obtained; subsequent biochemical evaluation confirmed the chylous nature of this fluid.

Isolation

Infection Control & Hospital Epidemiology, 1997
Abstract Patients infected or colonized with certain microorganisms must be placed in isolation while hospitalized to prevent nosocomial transmission of these pathogens. Isolation systems enable healthcare workers to identify patients who need to be isolated and to institute the appropriate precautions.

RANDOM ISOLS

Mathematical Logic Quarterly, 1983
Let \(R\subseteq\omega \times\omega \) be a binary relation. \(f: \omega\to \omega\) almost \(\times\)-sections R if \(\omega\vDash (\exists n)(\forall x>n)R(x,f(x)). \) is the RET of \(\xi \subseteq\omega \). Define \([\alpha,\beta]=\{\xi| \alpha\subseteq \xi\subseteq \alpha\cup \beta\}, [\alpha,\beta]^{

Not Isolating Isolation

2019
Abstract This chapter explores the distinctive features of solitary confinement and the ways in which isolation is endemic in the structure of U.S. prisons. It analyze the expansion of solitary confinement, the debate about the lawfulness of the practice in the federal courts, and recent data on the widespread use of solitary confinement
