A Multistate Adaptive System of Topologically Distinct Chiral Assemblies
Biological systems exemplify the extraordinary adaptability of living organisms to their surroundings, demonstrating the capacity to reconfigure their structure, properties, and function in response to specific environmental signals. In this context, the exploration of multistate chemical systems designed to mimic natural counterparts, with the ...

The structural basis for specific decoding of AUA by isoleucine tRNA on the ribosome
Decoding of the AUA isoleucine codon in bacteria and archaea requires modification of a C in the anticodon wobble position of the isoleucine tRNA. Here, we report the crystal structure of the archaeal tRNA2Ile, which contains the modification agmatidine ...

A low‐protein (LP) diet maintained growth performance while enhancing colonic microbiota composition and nitrogen utilization in Ningxiang finishing pigs. These findings enhance our understanding of protein nutrition in indigenous fat‐type pig breeds and provide a theoretical foundation for optimizing dietary formulations in Ningxiang pigs.

Ubiquitin C‐Terminal Hydrolase L1 (UCHL1), Beyond Hydrolysis
UCHL1 is a neuron‐enriched component of the ubiquitin‐proteasome system. This review debates the biological relevance of its biochemical roles: limited DUB activity, potential ligase function, and mono‐ubiquitin stabilization. We emphasize the need to clarify the mechanisms and identify natural substrates for each function to understand their role in ...
