Normal pulmonary venous drainage in the setting of total anomalous pulmonary venous connection
Total anomalous pulmonary venous connection (TAPVC) and anomalous pulmonary venous drainage are not synonymous. This has been described in the setting of right isomerism (bilateral right sidedness) where the pulmonary veins are connected anomalously but ...

Bioorthogonal chemistry was applied to intracellularly photoactivate Doxorubicin (Dox) using gold nanostars (AuNSt) and near‐infrared (NIR) light. Two prodrugs were used: one photoactivatable, masked with 2‐nitrobenzyl carbamate (proDox1) and another photolabile, masked with 2‐nitrobenzyl diol (proDox2), which was attached to the AuNSt surface.

Azobenzene photoswitches translate molecular‐scale E/Z photoisomerization into macroscopic material responses and device‐level photonic functions. This Review highlights how azobenzene research has evolved from molecular photochemistry to photoalignment, mass migration, photomechanics, and heat release, ultimately enabling holography, reconfigurable ...

Phase Engineering of Atomically Precise Nanoclusters (APNCs) of Gold and Beyond
Engineering the structural phase of materials is of paramount importance for both fundamental research and practical applications. In this Review, we summarize the recent progress in controlling the phases of atomically precise nanoclusters (APNCs) of gold, silver and copper, as well as bimetallic systems. The phase‐enabled material properties of APNCs

A light‐responsive liquid crystal (LC) polymer network integrating molecular rotary motors and photothermal converters enables the decoupling of photochemical and photothermal effects. Selective wavelength activation allows orthogonal control over persistent shape encoding and fast reversible motion, enabling programmable soft robots capable of complex

Aqueous Zn(II) Salphen metallofibers decorated with PNIPAM undergo reversible, multi‐stimuli‐responsive hierarchical bundling. This higher‐order structuring kinetically stabilizes the otherwise fragile assemblies against dilution, acidic hydrolysis, and transmetallation, enables selective sorting of responsive fibers, and programs hydrogelation at ...

Poly-Systemic Analysis of Military Students’ Discipline
Introduction. The concept of “discipline” has not been thoroughly investigated in psychology yet. In addition, a system of military higher education needs for new psychological knowledge on discipline structure and its formation. The aim of the research ...
