Computing Isometries of Lattices
The authors discuss ideas for an algorithm that calculates the automorphism group of a Euclidean lattice, extending a previous algorithm of \textit{W. Plesken} and \textit{M. Pohst} [Math. Comput. 45, 209-221 (1985; Zbl 0581.10014)]. They present a new method to compute partial automorphisms, speeding up the process for lattices having little symmetry.

Compressed Sensing with nonlinear observations and related non-linear optimisation problems
Non-convex constraints have recently proven a valuable tool in many optimisation problems. In particular sparsity constraints have had a significant impact on sampling theory, where they are used in Compressed Sensing and allow structured signals to be ...

Hierarchical isometry properties of hierarchical measurements [PDF]
Compressed sensing studies linear recovery problems under structure assumptions. We introduce a new class of measurement operators, coined hierarchical measurement operators, and prove results guaranteeing the efficient, stable and robust recovery of ...

Urysohn ultrametric spaces and isometry groups. [PDF]
In this dissertation we study a special sub-collection of Polish metric spaces: complete separable ultrametric spaces. Polish metric spaces have been studied for quite a long while, and a lot of results have been obtained.

On the exotic isometry flow of the quadratic Wasserstein space over the real line [PDF]
Kloeckner discovered that the quadratic Wasserstein space over the real line (denoted by W2(R)) is quite peculiar, as its isometry group contains an exotic isometry flow.

The Stability of Isometry by Singular Value Decomposition
Hyers and Ulam considered the problem of whether there is a true isometry that approximates the ε-isometry defined on a Hilbert space with a stability constant 10ε.

It is shown that laser ablation pretreatment under oxygen‐free conditions enables copper–aluminium bonding at significantly lower deformation degrees and improved properties compared to mechanical brushing. Laser ablation further increases interface contact area and induces favourable residual stress states and microstructural compatibility ...

A Counterexample Concerning C0-Semigroups of Holomorphic Carathéodory Isometries
We give an example for a C0-semigroup of non-linear 0-preserving holomorphic Carathéodory isometries of the unit ball.

In this paper we study submonoids of the monoid $\mathscr{I}_{\infty}^{\,\Rsh\!\!\nearrow}(\mathbb{N})$ of almost monotone injective co-finite partial selfmaps of positive integers $\mathbb{N}$.

Additively Manufactured Porous Ceramics as Tunable Dielectrics for Passive Temperature Sensing
Porous ceramic lattices, 3D‐printed from a multicomponent oxide ink, are integrated with LC resonators for passive wireless temperature sensing. By tuning porosity, the dielectric properties and RF response are engineered to produce distinct resonant frequency shifts with temperature. The results establish a structure‐driven approach to customizing the
