The Finsler Spacetime Condition for (α,β)-Metrics and Their Isometries
For the general class of pseudo-Finsler spaces with (α,β)-metrics, we establish necessary and sufficient conditions such that these admit a Finsler spacetime structure.

TacScope: A Miniaturized Vision‐Based Tactile Sensor for Surgical Applications
TacScope is a compact, vision‐based tactile sensor designed for robot‐assisted surgery. By leveraging a curved elastomer surface with pressure‐sensitive particle redistribution, it captures high‐resolution 3D tactile feedback. TacScope enables accurate tumor detection and shape classification beneath soft tissue phantoms, offering a scalable, low‐cost ...

Tumbling Magnetic Microrobots for Targeted In Vivo Drug Delivery in the GI Tract
We introduce a microrobot design and integrated system for on‐demand targeted drug release in the gastrointestinal tract. The microrobot has an embedded magnet for actuation with external magnetic fields and is visualized in real time using ultrasound. It has two drug release ports sealed with a thermally sensitive wax. Local heating of the wax using a

Let V be a GL-space (or complete base norm space) with cone \(V_+\) having as base the set K of elements of norm one. Then V is said to have the unique Jordan decomposition property if for each element x in V there exists unique elements \(x_ 1\) and \(X_ 2\) in \(V_+\) such that \(x=x_ 1-x_ 2\), \(x=\| x_ 1\| +\| x_ 2\|.\) Such spaces include all ...

3D‐Printing Aided Rapid Prototyping of Pretensioned Tensegrity Structures for Robotic Applications
Printing, injection molding, and assembly (PMA) is a method for rapid prototyping mesoscale, topologically complex, and tensioned tensegrity structures. In combination with PMA method, two mold design strategies: modular mold and compact channel layout, enable efficiency and scalability for tensegrity fabrication.

Quantum circuits for isometries [PDF]
We consider the decomposition of arbitrary isometries into a sequence of single-qubit and Controlled-NOT (C-NOT) gates. In many experimental architectures, the C-NOT gate is relatively 'expensive' and hence we aim to keep the number of these as low as possible.
