Factorization of k-quasihyponormal operators

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1991
Let A be the class of all operators T on a Hilbert space H such that R(T*kT), the range space of T*KT, is contained in R(T*k+1), for a positive integer k.

Multiobjective Codesign Optimization of a Planar Pneumatic Artificial Muscle‐Based Snake‐Like Robot for Enhanced Agility and Energy Efficiency

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A codesign multiobjective optimization framework was developed to enhance the morphology and controller of a snake‐like robot driven by artificial muscles. It improved planar locomotion, agility, and power efficiency. The approach optimized link geometry and controller gains, revealing that shorter muscles near joints and longer linkages maximize ...

Development and Isometry of Surfaces Galilean Space G3 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2023
Currently, the study of the geometry of semi-Euclidean spaces is an urgent task of geometry. In the singular parts of pseudo-Euclidean spaces, a geometry associated with a degenerate metric appears.

Collision‐Resilient Winged Drones Enabled by Tensegrity Structures

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Based on structures of birds such as the woodpeck, this article presents the collision‐resilient aerial robot, SWIFT. SWIFT leverages tensegrity structures in the fuselage and wings which allow it to undergo large deformations in a crash, without sustaining damage. Experiments show that SWIFT can reduce impact forces by 70% over conventional structures.

Restricted isometry constants in compressed sensing [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Compressed Sensing (CS) is a framework where we measure data through a non-adaptive linear mapping with far fewer measurements that the ambient dimension of the data.

Reliability of an isometric test for measuring the strength of the hip abductors and adductors

open access: yesBioscience Journal, 2020
This study aimed to measure the reliability of a test for measuring the strength and strength imbalance of the hip abductors and adductors, using isokinetic equipment adapted for isometric testing.

TacScope: A Miniaturized Vision‐Based Tactile Sensor for Surgical Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
TacScope is a compact, vision‐based tactile sensor designed for robot‐assisted surgery. By leveraging a curved elastomer surface with pressure‐sensitive particle redistribution, it captures high‐resolution 3D tactile feedback. TacScope enables accurate tumor detection and shape classification beneath soft tissue phantoms, offering a scalable, low‐cost ...

Isometry of Polish metric spaces

open access: yes, 2012
We consider the equivalence relation of isometry of separable, complete metric spaces, and show that any equivalence relation induced by a Borel action of a Polish group on a Polish space is Borel reducible to this isometry relation. We also consider the

Low Dimensional Flat Manifolds with Some Elasses of Finsler Metric

open access: yesپژوهش‌های ریاضی, 2020
Introduction An -dimensional Riemannian manifold  is said to be flat (or locally Euclidean) if  locally isometric with the Euclidean space, that is,  admits a covering of coordinates neighborhoods each of which is isometric with a Euclidean domain.
