Surface Science Letters, 1991Abstract The isosteric heat of adsorption of particles with repulsive nearest-neighbour interactions on a square lattice is calculated using the transfer matrix method. A significant diminution of enhancement of this repulsion is observed around half-coverage and at temperatures below and near the order-disorder transition.
