LEMON PEEL AS NATURAL BIOSORBENT TO REMOVE PHOSPHATE FROM SIMULATED WASTEWATER
Lemon peel, a discarded agro-waste, was used as a biosorbent for removal of phosphate from simulated wastewater by sorption process. The characteristics of this adsorbent were tested by using FTIR in order to study the chemical compounds and oxidizing

Isothermal or non isothermal modelling in a pellet adsorbent
Understanding the interaction between a fluid and a solid phase is of fundamental importance to design an adsorption process. Because the heat effects associated with adsorption are comparatively large, the assumption of isothermal behaviour is a valid approximation only when uptake rates are relatively slows.
