Isotopic Fractionation in Corn [PDF]
This study was started during the summer of 1965 because of the discrepancy observed between dates obtained from wood charcoal and charred corn samples collected from the same archaeologic sites. These results are listed in Table 1.

Neuronal PKM2‐driven glycolysis generates excess lactate that triggers histone H3K18 lactylation (H3K18la), establishing a pathogenic metabolic‐epigenetic axis in epilepsy. Elevated H3K18la enriches the Cop1 promoter, transcriptionally upregulating the E3 ubiquitin ligase COP1, which subsequently drives proteasomal degradation of GABAARβ2 and impairs ...

Sulfidity controls molybdenum isotope fractionation into euxinic sediments: Evidence from the modern Black Sea [PDF]
Molybdenum (Mo) isotope fractionation has recently been introduced as a new proxy in oceanography and biogeochemistry. It is therefore fundamental to understand the processes controlling Mo partitioning into modern marine environments.

This study elucidates that β‐elemene promotes cellular uptake of L. gasseri‐derived lactate by enhancing the membrane translocation of MCT1 in a CD147‐dependent manner. Intracellular lactate, through the lactylation of RBBP4 at the K26 site, recruits EP300 to the promoter regions of downstream genes (POLD1/POLD3), catalyzing H3K27ac modification.

Isotope Fractionation during Condensation and Evaporation during Planet Formation Processes
International audienceDuring the early stages of a protoplanetary disk, it is expected that the temperatures reached in the disk will lead to total or partial vaporization of dust, followed by condensation upon cooling.

A graphene oxide/collagen scaffold is developed for chronic massive rotator cuff tear repair. The scaffold improves compressive stability, supports reparative mesenchymal differentiation, and modulates the immune microenvironment. In chronic MRCT models, it reduces muscle degeneration, enhances tendon–bone regeneration, and improves functional recovery,

Buried Unstrained Germanium Channels: A Lattice‐Matched Platform for Quantum Technology
ABSTRACT Strained germanium (ε$\varepsilon$‐Ge) and strained silicon (ε$\varepsilon$‐Si) buried quantum wells have enabled advanced spin‐qubit quantum processors. However, in the absence of suitable lattice‐matched substrates, ε$\varepsilon$‐Ge and ε$\varepsilon$‐Si are deposited on defective, metamorphic SiGe buffers, which may impact device ...
