LiF‐rich solid electrolyte interphases in lithium metal batteries are redefined as controllable nanostructured building blocks rather than homogeneous protective films. This review shows how LiF distribution, grain boundaries, and heterogeneous interfaces govern electron blocking and Li ion transport, and compares fluorinated electrolytes, artificial ...

Supramolecular hydrogels enable real‐time visualization of mechanical stress through supramolecular switching mechanotransduction. Adamantane‐modified cellulose functions as a responsive domain that undergoes an on–off transition between hydrated and dehydrated states via reversible β‐cyclodextrin–adamantane complexation and decomplexation.

Isotope Fractionation Associated with the Photochemical Dechlorination of Chloroanilines
Isotope fractionation associated with the photochemical transformation of organic contaminants is not well understood and can arise not only from bond cleavage reactions but also from photophysical processes.

We demonstrate how oxygen‐deficient ruthenium oxide (RuOx) nanoparticles confined within covalent organic framework achieve highly efficient nitrate‐to‐ammonia conversion. Strong interaction between RuOx nanoparticles and COF results in modified interfacial hydrogen‐bond water network and adsorption of nitrogenous intermediates.

Nuclear field shift effect in isotope fractionation of thallium
Environmental transport of Tl is affected by redox reaction between Tl(I) and Tl(III) and ligand exchange reactions of them. In order to deepen the knowledge of Tl chemistry, we investigated fractionation of Tl stable isotopes (Tl-203 and Tl-205) in a ...

An optimized single‐cell transcriptomic framework profiles over 60 000 cells to map the ovine rumen microbiome, partitioning the ecosystem into seven cross‐species functional clusters. In heat‐resistant hosts, a lineage‐specific metabolic shift in Anaerovibrio lipolyticus toward a highly glycolytic phenotype contributes to a “nutritional sparing ...

Natural stable isotope fractionation for the assessment of hydrocarbon degradation.
In recent years, the use of compound specific isotope analysis (CSIA) to measure stable isotope fractionation developed into one of the most important tools for assessing biodegradation of aromatic hydrocarbons in contaminated groundwater. Biodegradation
