Phenotypic class ratios as marker signs of different types of agamospermy [PDF]
This article focuses on the development of the method for the genetic classification of agamospermous reproduction types in plants using sugar beet as an example. The classification feasibility is ensured by the use of isozymes as genetic markers allowing the identification of all three phenotypic classes in the progeny of individual heterozygous ...

Autosegregation of enzyme loci Me1 and Gpi2 in agamospermous progenies of triploid sugarbeet plants [PDF]
Ratios of malic-enzyme (ME1) and glucosephosphate isomerase (GPI2) phenotypic classes were studied in agamospermous progenies of triploid sugar beet plants.

Antigen-specific electrophoretic cell separation for immunological investigations [PDF]
Preincubation of human blood lymphocytes with cell surface antigen specific antibodies under non-capping conditions reduces the electrophoretic mobility of the corresponding lymphocyte subpopulation.

Abstract Quantitative risk assessments of chemicals are routinely performed using in vivo data from rodents; however, there is growing recognition that non‐animal approaches can be human‐relevant alternatives. There is an urgent need to build confidence in non‐animal alternatives given the international support to reduce the use of animals in toxicity ...

Glycolate oxidase isozymes are coordinately controlled by GLO1 and GLO4 in rice. [PDF]
Glycolate oxidase (GLO) is a key enzyme in photorespiratory metabolism. Four putative GLO genes were identified in the rice genome, but how each gene member contributes to GLO activities, particularly to its isozyme profile, is not well understood.

Clinical considerations in transitioning patients with epilepsy from clonazepam to clobazam: a case series. [PDF]
IntroductionIn treating refractory epilepsy, many clinicians are interested in methods used to transition patients receiving clonazepam to clobazam to maintain or increase seizure control, improve tolerability of patients' overall drug therapy regimens ...

Cyclooxygenase inhibition in ischemic brain injury [PDF]
Neuroinflammation is one of the key pathological events involved in the progression of brain damage caused by cerebral ischemia. Metabolism of arachidonic acid through cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes is known to be actively involved in the neuroinflammatory events leading to neuronal death after ischemia.

Abstract Belumosudil is an oral selective rho‐associated coiled‐coil containing protein kinase 2 inhibitor, approved as a treatment for chronic graft‐versus‐host disease. Prior clinical studies demonstrated that coadministration with strong CYP3A4 inducers or proton pump inhibitors requires dose modification of belumosudil.
