ABSTRACT Background Prostate cancer (PCa) is the most common solid organ cancer in men and the fifth leading cause of cancer‐related deaths globally. PSA helps identify men at risk but has low specificity and has resulted in unnecessary biopsies. The PROSTest, a novel machine learning‐based 27‐gene mRNA liquid biopsy assay, was developed to detect PCa.

Simultaneous Prostate Target Biopsy Integrated With Radical Prostatectomy: A Pilot Study Omitting Preoperative Systematic Biopsy [PDF]
Purpose This study evaluates the viability of a new method that employs transperineal targeted biopsy with frozen section analysis immediately followed by robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP), bypassing the traditional systematic biopsy deemed ...

The ISUP system of staging, grading and classification of renal cell neoplasia
There have been significant changes in the staging, classification and grading of renal cell neoplasia in recent times. Major changes have occurred in our understanding of extra-renal extension by renal cell cancer and how gross specimens must be handled to optimally display extra-renal spread.

ABSTRACT Introduction Neoadjuvant intense androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) with androgen receptor signaling inhibitors (ARSIs) has shown pathologic complete responses (pCR) in prostate cancer (PCa), but long‐term survival outcomes remain unclear. This study evaluates the durability of response following neoadjuvant ADT plus enzalutamide before robot ...
